'Mission Mangal': Akshay Kumar reveals the star cast of his film
'Mission Mangal', which is being touted as India's first space film starring Akshay Kumar in the main lead which will be helmed by Jagan Shakti. Earlier, Akki had taken to Twitter to reveal that he had signed a three-film deal with Fox Star Studios and Cape Of Good Films.Now, the Khiladi of Bollywood took to Twitter once again to reveal the cast of the film 'Mission Mangal'.
He shared a picture with the cast of 'Mission Mangal' which also stars Kriti Kulhari, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, Sharman Joshi and Nithya Menon.He captioned the picture as "Proud and excited to bring the story of India’s Mars Mission, #MissionMangal to you. Coincidentally the mission was launched on this very date, 5th Nov. 2013.
Meet the team and do share your best wishes for our shubh mangal journey. Shoot begins soon."The cast of the film is expected to start shooting for the film in mid-November. Meanwhile, on the professional front, Akshay has his kitty full with projects like '2.0', 'Good News' and 'Kesari'.

“This is Rakesh Dhawan. Mission Control initiating command for launch,” Akshay Kumar’s voice resonates in the just-released teaser of Mission Mangal, the actor’s latest effort exploring the Bollywood brand of patriotism.
Directed by Jagan Shakti, Mission Mangal is based on the Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), or the Mangalyaan project launched by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in November 2013, to put a space probe in planet Mars’ orbit.
