Shahid Kapoor Drops A SHOCKER; Reveals Why He Didn't Attend Ex Kareena Kapoor Khan's Wedding!

• Shahid Kapoor opens up on attending Priyanka Chopra's wedding and reveals why he did not attend Kareena Kapoor's marriage functions.

• The heartthrob of Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor is today one of the happily married men. He undoubtedly broke millions of hearts when he chose to marry a Delhi-based college girl, Mira Rajput Kapoor, through an arranged marriage setup. This was the time when every girl thought, “Why not me?” And finally, on July 7, 2015, Shahid was legally taken by her as they said “I do” in a Sikh wedding style. Shahid and Mira are now proud parents to beautiful kids, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor.

• Shahid Kapoor is currently on a promotional spree for his upcoming film Kabir Singh, along with the co-star Kiara Advani. The actor, who is known for being cautious while speaking to the media or at any event, is spilling beans whilst promoting the film.

• Talking about the regrets from the past, the actor mentioned his film career. He said he was offered many scripts that went on to become major hits after he refused to take them up. One of the big films that Shahid regrets not taking up is Rang De Basanti. The actor was offered to play the character of Karan with Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Soha Ali Khan, Sharman Joshi, and Waheeda Rehman among others. However, he declined the role. Shahid now revealed that he could not resist tearing up while he was reading the script, however, he could not accept the Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra-directorial.

• He was also asked to pick the better Padmaavat co-star Deepika Padukone or Ranveer Singh. He answered, "I guess that’s because she and I needed to connect for our respective characters. I think I shared more with her because of that than I did with Ranveer, as he was the antagonist, and we didn't have much time together." 

• The 38-year-old actor also spoke about the films he regrets not doing. Shahid was offered Rang De Basanti and couldn’t do it due to certain reasons. Speaking about it, he said, "I regret not doing the film. They wanted me to play the role of Siddharth. I’d cried while reading the script and loved it, but unfortunately couldn’t make time for it".
