Dawood
Ibrahim's ancestral Ratnagiri bungalow to be auctioned soon
Underworld don Dawood
Ibrahim's ancestral properties in Khed Taluka of Ratnagiri district are likely
to be auctioned soon. The properties include a bungalow and a plot for a petrol
pump in the name of his sister Haseena Parker.
Interestingly,
only two months ago, Parker's flat was auctioned for Rs 1.8 crore by the
Smuggling and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Act
(SAFEMA) officials.
According
to reports, the Ratnagiri properties were under SAFEMA's lens for a long time
but due to some legal trouble, the process of auctioning was delayed. On
Monday, the SAFEMA officials left for Khed Taluka to undertake the process of
getting the exact value of these properties.
This
bungalow was purportedly built by Dawood's father who was a Mumbai Police
personnel and was registered under
the name of Dawood's mother Amina.
Earlier
in 2018, the Massula building on Pakmodia Street in South Mumbai where Dawood's
mother Amina stayed during her last years was auctioned for Rs 3.51 crore. The
Saifee Burhani Upliftment Trust (SBUT) bought the building for their Bhendi
Bazaar redevelopment project.
In
November 2017, three other properties of Dawood Ibharim went under the hammer,
including the Bhendi Bazaar redevelopment project where the underworld don last
stayed before fleeing India. The guest house was sold for Rs 3.053 crore, while
the other two fetched Rs 7 crore.
Sneak Peek

Finance, has sent officers from Mumbai and Solapur to evaluate Dawood’s
